Composed of four guys who bring passion, originality and an unpretentious can-do attitude to the musical table, Dreaming Awake has been developing and growing over the past year with an eye on making a mark in the music scene. Call it metalcore with electronic elements, post-hardcore, or what have you, to Dreaming Awake it is about making a connection with listeners that they can relate to. Whether through an intense live stage presence, the catchy lyrics, or the powerhouse breakdowns, that personal relationship with fans transcends any genre tag. This is something that the band fervently believes in, having built similar connections through a strong friendship between its own members. This sense of community has enabled Dreaming Awake to make large strides in a short period of time and serves only to drive the band ever onward; to set and accomplish new goals. With plans to record a debut release in early 2013, Dreaming Awake is ready to dive head-first into the fray and bring a powerful new set of songs to life.
